Performances

A great many ceilidhs and dances take place in Bonar Hall, as well as retirals, special birthday and anniversary parties.

The Main Hall is also popular with amateur performances for dance shows, drama, childrens' theatre and childrens' dance groups, ethnic events and many charity events.

The stage is the width of the Hall (61 ft wide) and there are two dressing rooms backstage. There are theatre lights and a sound system, and although we have no resident technician we can provide contact numbers for technicians if required.

Good advice is always available from our Floor Supervisors regarding set ups for performances and other events. We always run a performance bar if wanted. The cost is included in the hire charges.
